"I have never read a novel like this before. This was beautifully written. Each character had an intense depth to them and explored pieces of their identity and how these pieces intertwine in relationships, culture, etc. It’s told in a non-linear timeline which gives the reader a feeling of nostalgia even when they’re reading the “present” timeline. I truly didn’t want this book to end. It made me cry, it made me laugh, and gave me such a beautiful outlook on the world and my closest friendships."
